A joint assessment conducted by Resilience Hope Foundation (RHF) and HWD and Family Care, at some of the IDP camps in Kahda District has revealed the significant impact of the El Niño rains. The makeshift and temporary houses in the area have been flooded, causing extensive damage and affecting the IDPs residing there.
As a result of the floods, the IDPs are in urgent need of plastic sheets, non-food items, and cooking utensils. These essential items will help them cope with their current situation and ensure their basic needs are met.
