RHF: is a professionally managed and committed national Non-Governmental and Non-profit-making organization, founded by civil Society groups on 1st January 2021 in Mogadishu, Somalia.
The primary focus of RHF is on the problems of the poor in their struggle to obtain a life of justice & dignity, food security & livelihood, getting access to clean portable water and health services, empowerment of the community for self-governance are the most important components of its mission.
Gender justice, advocacy on human rights, democracy, peace and conflict resolution in society child protection and child rights, natural resource management, and
livelihood security are our primary areas of concern as well.

“Our mission is to empower the vulnerable and the underprivileged communities in Somalia in order to bring about sustainable development and positive social transformation while focusing on Women and Gender Equality, justice and human rights Education and Skill Development, Health and Wellness, Livelihood and Economic Empowerment, Social Justice and Human Rights and Community Engagement and Collaboration”.

RHF focuses on the following programs; Specific Objectives
The specific objectives derived from the above broad goals are to;
- To Promote inclusive education by addressing barriers to education for marginalized groups, such as girls, children with disabilities, and those from low-income backgrounds.
- To Increase access to essential healthcare services, including preventive care, maternal and child health services, and disease management programs.
- To support initiatives that address gender-based violence, promote women’s rights, and enhance women’s participation in decision-making processes.
- To provide vocational training and skills development programs to enhance employability and income-generating opportunities.
- To raise awareness about human rights and promote a culture of respect and tolerance within the community.
- To promote volunteerism and civic engagement to create a sense of ownership and collective responsibility within the community.
